What does "Hwangduck" word stands for?
Hwangduck is also called the name as Hwangduck Light which was used in Kwng Dong area the eastern part of Korea from old days. This is a genuine Korean word, meaning "a light of firewood" burnt by village residents to protect strangers from cold weather or attack from wild animals in the mountains. But this word mean only as an archaic word today.
